Custom NGS Panels

iGeneTech Bioscience has four proven target sequencing technologies including hybridization capture sequencing, methyl hybridization capture sequencing, multiplex amplicon sequencing and anchored multiplex amplicon sequencing to meet the diverse needs of customers. iGeneTech Bioscience provides a list of pre-designed catalog panels for customers to choose from and customers can also build their own customized panels or build semi-customized panels based on catalog panels with probes for preferred regions.

Custom NGS Panel Types

  • Custom Hybridization Capture panels
    TargetSeq® Panels are customizable panels based on TargetSeq® hybridization capture technology. It is suitable for target capture of region sizes of 1 kb to 100 Mb for the detection of SNV, InDel, CNV, STR, Fusion and other mutations in the target area.
  • Custom Multiplex Amplicon Sequencing panels
    MultipSeq® Panels are customizable panels based on MultipSeq® multiplex amplicon sequencing technology. With professional primer design and optimization scheme, it is suitable for target capture of region sizes of <1 Mb for the detection of SNV, SNP, InDel, known fusions and other variants in the target region.
  • Custom Methyl Hybridization Capture panels
    BisCap® Panels are customizable methylation panels based on BisCap® methyl hybridization capture technology for DNA methylation detection. It is suitable for research of early cancer screening, cancer prognostic marker detection, tumor tissue origin and other application fields.

AIdesign Probe & Primer Design Platform

AIdesign is a cloud-based intelligent probe/primer design platform developed by iGeneTech Bioscience, which allows users to customize and manage their own gene panels. AIdesign designs and optimizes primers and probes based on thermodynamic stability and machine learning strategy, taking into account the balance of repeat sequence region coverage and capture efficiency, enabling accurate and efficient design for any species and any region. Explore


Features

  • SaaS mode: support the high-throughput rapid design of probes, PCR primers, sgRNAs and other sequences, issue design reports and seamlessly proceed to wet lab optimization and production.

AIdesign Probe & Primer Design Platform

MFEprimer Primer Design and Quality Evaluation Platform

MFEprimer is a PCR primer quality evaluation and multiplex PCR primer design platform developed by iGeneTech Bioscience. Candidate primers are designed and evaluated against genomic or transcript databases and then checked to avoid primer dimerization. A graphical extension algorithm derived from the core algorithm is used to determine the best primer set combinations (PSC, Primer Set Combinations) for multiplex PCR assays. In addition, the software provides virtual e-pictures to help the users select the best PSC. Experiments from 2X to 5X plex PCR have proven the reliability of the software. Explore


Features

  • Binding sites searching is more sensitive by updating the k-mer algorithm to allow mismatches within the k-mer except the first base at the 3' end. The binding sites of each primer with stable 3' end are also listed in output.

  • Command-line version has an option of JSON output to make MFEprimer more useful by acting as a quality control step in "primer design > quality control > redesign" pipeline.

  • Function of checking whether the binding sites contain SNPs, which will affect the consistency of binding efficiency among different samples.
