IGT-AS12 is a low to medium-throughput automated liquid-handling workstation developed for NGS target sequencing labs.
IGT-AS12 is capable of handling the steps of whole NGS target sequencing workflow of concentration homogenization, reagent preparation, purification by magnetic beads, and pooling. It is a suitable automated upgradation of target sequencing including WGS, WES, hybridization-based capture and amplicon library construction. IGT-AS12 is now fully adapted to the library construction kits and target enrichment kits of whole product line of iGeneTech.

The IGT-AS12 is equipped with a high-precision pipetting robot arm with ±0.1 mm positioning accuracy. It has 2 pipettes of single-channel and 8-channels that can be switched online and is compatible with both 50 μL and 200 μL tips. The IGT-AS12 has high pipetting precision of CV less than 5% at 1 μL, enabling the accurate handling of complex NGS workflow.
The IGT-AS12 has 12 standard positions, dual pipettes and plate gripper, enabling the standard handling of liquid pipetting. The IGT-AS12 also provides 4 optional modules of temperature controller, magnetic separator, shaker and thermal cycler, in order to meet the diverse needs of NGS target sequencing workflows. With fully optimized design, the dual pipettes are located outside the plate area and the optional thermal cycler module only takes up one position, providing more available positions in the IGT-AS12.
The software interface is simple and intuitive, supports drag-and-drop operation. The software provides intelligent process construction solutions, supporting customized processes, which could fully meets the needs of complex and changeable personalized use. The software is preset with tested universal procedures and templates, and provides the standard experimental procedures of whole series of gene capture kits from iGeneTech.
The IGT-AS12 is equipped with UV lamp and HEPA air filter to meet the requirement of experimental environment cleanliness. At the same time, the specifically designed electromagnetic door lock and emergency stop button are equipped to enable full protection of the equipment and users.
The IGT-AS12 offers a stable, standard and efficient option of reducing hands-on time for up to 90%. The stable and accurate operations of the workstation can also minimize the human operational errors.
The IGT-AS12 is pre-installed with tested scripts of target sequencing workflow for iGeneTech's proven reagent kits that cover various application fields. Automated experiments can be performed seamless on the same day of installation without long-time testing and waiting.
The IGT-AS12 supports customized develoment of configuration, workflow as well as reagent kits to meet the requirements of various application scenarios and throughputs. For customers with customization requirements, iGeneTech offers full OEM manufacture services to both reagent kits and IGT-AS12 workstation.
